Press release from the City of Asheville, NC – Asheville Parks, Recreation and Cultural Arts will host a free community Wellness Day and Health Fair, on Saturday, December 1, from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m., at the Stephens-Lee RecreationCenter, 30 George Washington Carver Street.
Rosetta's recently opened a satellite kitchenette on the campus of UNC Asheville. The response from students faculty and staff has been been very positive. We have scaled down the menu a few notches to provide the healthiest most affordable and fastest service possible. We have been opened since August 17th 2012. The model used at UNC Asheville is exciting and we believe that it can be duplicated and used in a number of various locations. Including shopping malls, schools, sporting events and Health care systems.
We have officially launched our private food label. You can now find our Veggie Burger at select EarthFares and Ingles Supermarkets. In addition to retail, we now have a partnership with Mission Hospitals, so you can get a Veggie Burger in the hospital cafeteria. Learn more about the Kitchen's latest project...

Yesterday, I had the most interesting and rewarding day. I was asked to help prepare a meal in honor of the growing season at Fletcher Hall Elementary School. ASAP's (Appalachian Sustainable Agriculture Project)Farm to School program was featured as an initiative to help our youngest minds reconnect and revive the old way of family farming.
