Rosetta's Kitchen Spotlights Fruits and Veges at Local School

Yesterday, I had the most interesting and rewarding day. I was asked to help prepare a meal in honor of the growing season at Fletcher Hall Elementary School. ASAP's (Appalachian Sustainable Agriculture Project)Farm to School program was featured as an initiative to help our youngest minds reconnect and revive the old way of family farming.

I really enjoyed the enthusiasm of the kids and hope other schools use ASAP's program. At the Kitchen we enjoy the partnership with ASAP and support all the work they are doing to help bring local food into the mainstream - its the only way to eat!
